We're the PAW-fessionals ......
This November our team of K9's and their BFF's are 'Supporting The Brave', the paw-some First Responder Communities of Australia.
On two and four legs, we will be huffing, panting and unleashing ourselves in Fortem Australia's 42km challenge and it could get RUFF RUFF RUFF!
Throughout the month we will be raise the woof, awareness and funds to support the 360,000 first responders in Australia who keep our communities safe.
WHY? (Besides the fact we think their Paw-some doing what they do)
* Did you know that more than half of all emergency responders are deeply impacted by the traumas they face in the course of their duties.
* And first responders are more than twice as likely to have suicidal thoughts and to experience high psychological distress.
And Dog-gone it, we want to change this and we would love your help!
Now we don't want to hound you, BUT you could join us and walk or run in solidarity, howl from the roof tops to spread the word far and wide OR 'paw-lease sponsor us' on this challenge, every little thing helps to make a paw-sitive difference.
This way, between us all, we can show support and thanks to those who work to keep us safe every day.
